Writing for business is different than creative writing and academic writing. Writing for business must be clear, concise, understandable, and specific in order to be effective. Busy leaders, colleagues and employees receive a lot of communication from many sources, and writing skills are an important part of communication. Good writing skills allow you to communicate your message with clarity and ease to a far larger audience than through face-to-face or telephone conversations.
