Terms and Conditions for Public Speaking Training and Coaching Services at Speak Easy with Shona Welsh
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Speak Easy with Shona Welsh, herein referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our,” and the individual or entity purchasing public speaking training and coaching services, herein referred to as “you” or “your.” By using our public speaking training and coaching services and making payment via credit card, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
- We offer public speaking training and coaching services aimed at improving your public speaking skills and confidence.
- Services may include but are not limited to one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops, online courses, and materials provided through various mediums.
2. Payment
- Payment for our services must be made via credit card.
- By providing your credit card information, you authorize us to charge your credit card for the agreed-upon amount.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.
3. Scheduling
- Scheduling of coaching sessions will be done based on mutual availability.
- Scheduling of training sessions will occur based on advertised dates or, if on demand courses, based on mutual availability.
- We reserve the right to reschedule sessions if necessary, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session, you must provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of the session or fee.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a training session, you must provide us with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
- In the event of cancelling a workshop with 2 to 8 weeks in advance, 50% of the workshop fee is non-refundable and a 10% administration fee of the full amount will be retained.
- In the event of cancelling a workshop 9 or more weeks in advance, a full refund of any fees will be provided, less a 10% administrative fee of the full amount.
- In the event of cancelling a workshop with less than 2 week’s notice, the entire fee for the workshop is non-refundable.
- If you need to reschedule a workshop, we will work with you to find mutually agreed upon dates.
5. Confidentiality
- We respect your privacy and will keep all information shared during coaching sessions confidential.
- You agree not to disclose any confidential information shared during coaching sessions without our written consent.
6. Code of Conduct
- You agree to conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner during coaching sessions and workshops.
- Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in termination of services without refund.
7. Liability
- We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
- You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of our services.
8. Modification of Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
- Any changes to these Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
- Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
By purchasing our public speaking training and coaching services and providing your credit card information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
